What is FD?
Freeze dried products are treated with low level heat processing; before drying, the products are first frozen, the moisture turns into vapor directly from ice, without melting. In this way, FD products' organism and nutritional compositions can be kept almost as in fresh products. These products also have significantly faster recantation. After hydrating, the products present almost all typical characteristics of fresh products. FD products keep the original shape, volume, color and taste better than only dried products. Another advantage is represented by their light weight and their long shelf life.
